Our climate and world are changing at an accelerating rate. We face many new and unprecedented challenges. This course will help you develop the confidence to step into this unknown future and create a realistic action plan to implement in your unique life circumstances.
During this six-week class, you will learn about disaster prevention, mitigation, and community response through a permaculture lens- one that works with nature and acknowledges the inequities that sometimes occurs in modern emergency management. We strive to take a positive and holistic approach to some of the biggest challenges of our times. The aim is to teach principles, frameworks, and specific tools that can be applied to your unique needs and community.
We encourage you to sign up in small groups from your organization, businesses, community, or family. Joining as a team will allow you to work together and adapt the course material into a working plan that fits your group’s unique needs.
