Learn to build

Permaculture Gadgets is an online DIY space for anyone desiring to learn how to build simple, home-scale permaculture devices. Charles will walk you through a step-by-step construction process. Unlike watching a recording on YouTube, these are live sessions where you interact with the instructor, who can answer your question each step along the way.

For Charles tinkering and building are acts of joy. He facilitates these sessions in a relaxed atmosphere where questions are encouraged, problem-solving is celebrated, and all skill levels are welcome.

Everyone is welcome!

Sustainable Infrastructure: Managing land ecologically is a resource-intense activity that requires finding a balance between consumption, ecological impact, and financial solvency. This course will provide practical answers on balancing these often complex and sometimes competing needs. Sustainable Infrastructure centers student understanding on the fundamentals of farm and ranch scale energy systems, material choices, and waste management. We will explore how to design, maintain and manage energy systems, integrate cyclic waste management strategies, and evaluate and find low-impact materials for landed projects.

A core component of this course – and every Earth Activist Training course – is our private forum: Earth Activist Training Online network. This platform is where you will find  a network to connect with classmates and other Earth Activist students.
