Permaculture Design Course

We provide organic vegan, vegetarian, omnivore, and  may offer gluten-free options. Meats will be ethically sourced. We will do our best to accommodate other dietary needs, we ask that you be understanding if we cannot accommodate every preference as all life threatening allergies will be prioritized. 

Included in tuition is a bed in a shared mixed-gender dorm. Bedding is not included, but can be rented for an additional fee. Limited private and shared double rooms are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Earth Activist Training Diversity Scholarships are for people of color and indigenous people doing environmental and social justice work.

Work trade positions play a crucial role in keeping the cost of our classes down, we are grateful for those who are willing to dedicate their time in support of our course for a reduction in tuition. Tuition is $2000 plus 36 hours of work trade to meet the standard tuition rate. Work Trade students are asked to come before the class to help with course set-up and stay late the last day the course closes to do site clean-up. We have 2 teams of work trade students. Soil Team- arrive 3 days early and work 13 hours during the course and assist with clean up on the last day. Sunshine Team-Arrive early the first day the course begins, work 2 hours a day during the course and provide clean up the last day. Pre/post course accommodation will be camping. ** NOTE: Work trade can be a lot of work and will require work at times other students are taking a break. We offer a limited number of work trade positions. Please apply early for a better chance of earning a Work trade position. In the chance that you are not offered a work trade position, we will email you letting you know that you are not accepted for work trade, and you can then pay the difference for a regular seat in the course or get a refund of your deposit.
