Wow!  I’m so excited, I hardly know what to say. We’ve had such incredible support for the Kickstarter to publish City of Refuge, the sequel to The Fifth Sacred Thing!

I’m also somewhat exhausted, from teaching our Earth Activist Training in Catalunya, which by the way was just wonderful!  An amazing group of people and my co-teacher, Alfred Decker, was such a great permaculture teacher, so knowledgeable, supportive, kind, and funny!  Also very tall!  Now I’m in England, about to start a six-day Social Permaculture course,  all of which is to say, I’ve got to actually go to bed before the Kickstarter finishes.  Is this a mark of maturity?  I don’t know.

We’re almost to $78,000!  We have met our three stretch goals, and I will be able to make an audiobook.  It means City of Refuge is the second most funded fiction project on Kickstarter!  I am so grateful for all the support, and I’ll write more in the next couple of days.  For now, I’m going to bed very happy, and excited to see the total when I wake up in the morning!

UPDATE: Campaign closed at $79,060!
